Thread and I am very pleased with my purchasePlenty of room for all my thread and supplies!Pretty good for its price and fits a lot of small things!Storage Box, Pros & ConsPros:Was able to fit 80 very small spools of New Brothread (had to remove most of the dividers).Separates so you can use the handle on just one or two trays, or all three.Removable dividers, can have a completely undivided trays.Can fit 60 small spools without removing dividers.Lots of storage for small thread spools.Handle to carry.Clear, easy to see thread.Recommended for light objects.Cons:Thin plastic, not sure it will last.Not recommended for heavy items.Had to remove several dividers to fit 80 small spools.Only holds small spools, up to 2 1/8 inches high without removing dividers.Dividers provide some support, so would not advise removing all of them.Need to be very careful removing dividers and putting trays together, afraid they may break.Would not hold very many larger spools.I really like the storage cases. It’s so easy to organize my thread by color. it’ll be easy to find exactly the right shade thread I’m looking for. They are not super heavy duty plastic, but how heavy duty do you need to hold something as light as thread? I think they’re durable enough and they stack nicely. I recommend.I just got a new sewing machine after my one of over 50 yrs finally gave up. Some of my threads were probably over 20 yrs old, so I bought a selection of multiple colors of threads. This organizer (3 separate layers which interlock) is great for storing them as I can see thru it to pick the correct case.Not real sturdy and latches that hold them together could be betterWhat a great size box to store all my threads!!!! The bonus is how large each spot is so I can put all colors of the same box it originally came in together. I also use Simthread threads that are absolutely amazing quality and the spool is larger but it fits perfectly with some room for some other smaller spools too!It stacks beautifully and because it is compact I save so much space on my cabinet.The quality of the box is very good and sturdy!!! I highly recommend it.
